offices with a separate entrance were designed for other tenants , or future Personal Banking Functions. An oversize elevator makes the second floor offices and basement safe-deposit vault fully accessible.
Masonry detailing recalls the design of historic buildings in Dedham Center. Though the building was built for, and financed by the Bank of New England, the owner was involved in the design review and construction of the building. This required great skill in satisfying all the competing interests.
