LaFreniere Architects designed this pool-house which along with an existing stone retaining wall defines the space of the swimming pool in front of this 1900 era house.  The generous trellis provides shade for a table and chairs, but also envelopes a simple modernist cube which houses a changing room and bathroom, and envelopes a kitchen for outdoor meals.  This complex group of functions effectively disappears under the trellis and its verdant cover.
