LaFreniere Architects were retained by Pezrow to define their space needs and create a prototypical building and site design for competitive bidding by developers.
The design reflected the forward-looking character of this rapidly expanding food-brokerage firm, and allowed for 100% growth of the company. The conventional and inexpensive materials were used in a fresh and lively way, which appealed to their corporate clients. The interiors and furniture systems were also designed and coordinated by LaFreniere Architects to meet the specific needs of the team-work approach of the company.
The successful bidders were Keller-Davis with Dacon as their design-build contractor for this lease/purchase, build-to-suit project. The original outline specifications and drawings were clear enough to ensure that all costs of the project were covered by the developers' bid.
