The new corporate offices for the Shipley Company were found necessary when the company was bought out by a national industrial giant, and the facilities were consolidated in Marlborough. The 30,000 square foot space was designed and built in four months, and had to respond to new corporate space standards. Each of the Sales, Marketing, Accounting and Corporate Services groups have their own discrete open plan office area, yet they are interconnected by a clear circulation path with common facilities, such as conference rooms, dining hall and computer rooms.
